On-Site Electrostatic Painting

An electrostatic finish is simply the most efficient way to refinish metal. It produces the most durable on-site finish available on the market today. In fact, the finish is comparable to the original factory finish in quality and durability. Electrostatic equipment produces a positively charged atomized paint spray that is drawn to a negatively charged metal surface. Over spray is virtually eliminated because almost 100% of the paint is transferred to the surface in an extremely uniform paint film.

Powder Coating

Powder coating is an advanced method of applying an ornamental and protective finish to virtually any type of metal. The powder used in the process is an mixture of finely ground particles of pigment and resin, which is electrostatically sprayed onto the surface to be coated. The charged powder particles adhere to the electrically grounded surfaces until the powder is heated and fused into a smooth coating in the curing oven. The result is a consistent, long-lasting, high quality, and attractive finish. Powder coating is a modern environmentally friendly process. Powder coating contains no solvents and releases negligible amounts, if any, VOCS’s into the atmosphere. Any odor problems are eliminated.

Sandblasting

Sandblasting is the process of smoothing and cleaning a hard surface by forcing solid particles across the surface at high speed using compressed air. Paint, oil, and dirt are removed evenly from the surface with ease. Using an alternate air supply, protective wear, and proper ventilation, sandblasting is carefully controlled.

Architectural Metal Painting

High-volume, low-pressure (HVLP) painting is an efficient paint process that can be applied on-site or in-shop. The process is similar to conventional spraying; however the spray gun itself requires a low pressure (LP). A higher volume (HV) of air is used to propel the paint at lower air pressure. The result is a higher percentage of paint reaching the target surface with condensed over spray, materials consumption, and air contamination.
